Coventry Chemicals is honoured and proud to be the recipient of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in recognition of its outstanding growth in overseas sales. This award has been the result of accumulated efforts over many years to build internationally recognised and trusted brands supplied to its highly valued and strategic international customers and distributors.
Coventry Chemicals, also trading as Mirius, is recognised globally for its Omnicide range of broadspectrum disinfectants for use in animal healthcare,
its Hycolin antiviral and Vital Fresh retail brands, and its Hycolin Professional range in the B2B/industrial cleaning sector.

Market-leading ranges Coventry Chemicals was founded in 1963 and is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of biocides, cleaning liquids, powders, tablets and antiviral hygiene products into the retail, professional (B2B) and animal healthcare sectors.
In addition to its respected brands, Mirius is also proud to partner with leading export customers and international distributors to produce and supply high quality own label products.
Mirius operates from its purpose built 6,000sqm facility in Coventry where manufacturing excellence and industry leading capability are of paramount importance. The plant utilises in-line blending, automated precision filling, capping, labelling and packaging equipment to ensure consistently high quality products.
Mirius works to the highest standards and accreditations, including ISO 90001 and 14001, as well as the ISO 22716 accreditation for Good Manufacturing Practice. It is certified Grade A by the British Retail Consortium.
Mirius is also aware of its societal and environmental responsibilities, proactively taking an industry-leading role in the use of both rPET and recyclable plastic packaging. The business is SMETA compliant and RSPO certified.
