Our Endorsements

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise have been operating in various forms since 1966, developing over the years into the UK’s most prestigious business accolade.

Warmest congratulations to all the winners of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Businesses carrying the Queen’s Awards logo are well received internationally and The Institute of Export is extremely proud of its involvement with the International Trade element of the scheme

We understand the challenges of being truly competitive in the current financial landscape – which makes the winners’ successes even more important and valuable.

The Institute has been serving UK businesses since 1935 when a group of businessmen decided that the only way out of that recession was to export, proving there is no such thing as original thought and nothing new in economics. From that defining moment a membership organisation grew that provided guidance from those already exporting to those keen to learn how to succeed. Our work, underpinned by our innovation and commitment to embed professionalism in international trade, continues to go from strength to strength.

Each year we are delighted to award a Business Membership as a gift to every winner in the International Trade category. This membership supports further growth into new markets and enhances skills in companies seeking to broaden their horizons.

There is strong focus and drive at national and local level to create a global trading environment for businesses. In the same way that we entrust the finances of our companies to qualified accountants and legal matters to qualified solicitors – a growing number of organisations are recognising that the management and governance of their multi million pound trading transactions should be conducted by qualified international trade professionals.

Our vibrant Queen’s Awards Gala Dinner for the winners offers a chance to unwind, with your team, in the gracious surroundings offered by the City of London Livery Halls. This year we are at the Clothworkers Hall on Wednesday, September 24, and we look forward to seeing you there.
